Terms and Conditions of Sale for US Customers
Price: Prices stated are exclusive of all taxes, fees, licenses, transportation charges, freight and insurance. All pricing and special offers are subject to approval by Sage Science’s Corporate Headquarters and are not binding until this review is complete and approval has been given.
Shipping: Unless otherwise requested, all instrument orders will ship ground service. Perishable items (cassettes, reagents, control DNA) will ship Monday – Thursday for next day delivery. Shipping charges will be prepaid and added to the invoice (PPD & Add). Upon request, we will ship freight collect (FedEx or UPS).
Warranty: Pippin Prep and BluePippin instruments have a 2-year parts and labor warranty. The Pippin Pulse, SageELF, PippinHT, and SageHLS instruments have a 1-year parts and labor warranty. Gel cassettes for all platforms are warranted for 1 year. Sage Science will offer a no charge repair or replacement of defective product if notified within the warranty period and product has not been misused, altered or damaged by disaster. This warranty is not transferable from the original purchaser to a subsequent purchaser.
Sales Tax: Applicable state sales tax will be calculated and added to your order. If you have tax exempt status, please forward a copy of your exemption certificate with your first order.
Payment Terms: Payment terms are Net 30 days for customers with an established account. We also accept Visa and MasterCard.
Patent Disclaimer: Sage Science does not warrant that the use of their products will not infringe the claims of any patents covering the products or the use of these products in combination with other products or in the operation of any process.
Return Policy: Sage Science guarantees your satisfaction. If for any reason, you would like to return a Pippin Prep, please contact us for a return authorization number within 30 days of delivery.
Force Majeure: Sage Science shall not be liable for any delay or failure of performance, including without limitation, failure to deliver, where such delay or failure arises from any cause beyond Sage Science’s reasonable control, including, but not limited to, flood, unusually severe weather, earthquake or other act of nature, power loss, strike, boycott, or other labor disputes, embargo, governmental regulation, or an inability or delay in obtaining materials. In the event of any such delay or failure of performance, Sage Science shall have such additional time within which to perform its obligations hereunder as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstances.
Limitation of Liability: Sage Science’s liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the instrument, except as prohibited by law, in no event shall Sage Science be liable for any incidental or consequential damages from the sale of products.
